    ASYSCO

ASYSCO provides automated migration technologies and services for Unisys Mainframe Users – A-Series or OS/2200 – through their ASYSCO Migration Technology (AMT)!

ASYSCO offers two paths to migration: 1) Its flagship product, AMT-LION and 2) Its newest product, AMT-VS (migration to Visual Studio in either C# or VB.NET). Your path depends on your needs.

ASYSCO migrates an organization’s UNISYS COBOL & LINC code, regardless of the Unisys operating system type, to a single development language - with NO changes to their business logic!

ASYSCO converts the Unisys data and databases (DMS, DMSII, RDMS, Indexed Sequential Files) to the SQL database (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2) of choice.

ASYSCO also converts the WFL and ECL code to VB Script. All automated!

ASYSCO enable clients to modernize their old mainframe systems into high quality server-based solutions.

ASYSCO provides a control center which allows an organization to view and control all of its applications (including server load balancing, security, audit trails, printing, performance statistics, etc) in a single place.

AMT is automated technology allowing projects to be completed in an amazingly fast timeframe.

Nature’s Sunshine Products signs with Asysco to convert their Unisys LINC systems!

After much due diligence, Nature’s Sunshine Products (NSP) has decided to implement Asysco’s AMT-LION migration solution.  All NSP Unisys mainframe applications (EAE and COBOL) will be migrated to a Windows-based, SQL-backed AMT-LION system.

This migration will allow NSP to retain their current business logic while moving to the highly productive AMT-LION Windows programming environment.

With a move to AMT-LION, this leave open the possibility of moving to Microsoft’s C# or VB.NET for Visual Studio in the future, if/when that becomes a strategy for NSP.

NSP will retire its Unisys mainframe in early 2009.

NSP, located in Provo, Utah, provides the highest quality herbal, vitamin, mineral, and nutritional supplements worldwide.
