Tampa, FL, July 19, 2010-- In an awards ceremony at the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference on July 14, T3 Technologies was presented with a Technology Momentum award from Microsoft’s Enterprise Platform Modernization Group.  The award was presented to T3 for their ground-breaking Liberty 2.0 integrated mainframe migration solution which delivers all of the components necessary for migration of IBM mainframe applications and data to the Microsoft Application Platform. The T3 solution includes HP Intel-based hardware, Microsoft Server, SQL, and management tools, Micro Focus migration software, T3 migration tools, migration services, 7 X 24 support, financing options, and is presented as a fixed price solution.

T3’s solution, designed specifically for small to medium sized mainframe data centers, is considered a re-platforming migration and is accomplished without requiring any changes to a company’s business logic or processes. A Liberty 2.0 “forklift” migration can take place in as little as 90 days and has proven to be 50-80% less costly than a comparable mainframe’s high hardware, software, and maintenance fees.
